About
Every designer knows the quiet tax of 'that's not feasible right now,' the interaction that dies somewhere between the mockup and the sprint.
Somewhere in the last year I crossed a line I did not expect to, from designing products to building them. If I can design it, I can build it, because the UX behind the design gets built and polished by the same person who argued for it. Every animation exactly as intended, with the guardrails, performance, page weight and accessibility still respected.
The two years before that were at RR Donnelley. Presentation design and data visualisation for the senior consultant teams at Boston Consulting Group, the client our team served, then design workflow and project routing across global teams. Work measured in hours, against a standard that did not move.
