Projects For fun

Garage

A motorcycle logbook I built for using one-handed at a fuel pump.

Snap the receipt, and the arithmetic turns it into answers.

Logged at the pump

Read from the photo, shown in editable fields
A doubtful reading is offered, with its reason
The wide layout, for the desk

Log, then read answers

Nothing is saved until you see it in an ordinary field you can edit.

Every form is a bottom sheet
Economy per full tank, and the recent drop
What a kilometre actually costs
The parts closest to due
A verdict, never a bare score

Decisions

  1. Decision 1

    Four checks before the odometer

The reading fills in only when two renderings agree, it rises, the jump is sane and it fits the projection.

  2. Decision 2

    A dash, never a zero

Derived figures carry a tilde and a reason. If there's no evidence yet, you see a dash.

  3. Decision 3

    Built for no signal

If an entry fails to save for network reasons, it waits offline and replays in order.

Screens

Second palette, both modes

The Void palette, dark
The Void palette, light

How it was made

I designed and built it with AI. Three engines read each photograph, and the insights work the same online, offline and in tests.

  1. 1

    Designed

Every form is a bottom sheet, so logging never loses the context underneath.

  2. 2

    Built with AI

I built it with Claude Code, photo reading included, behind four plain checks.

  3. 3

    Shipped

It's live at garage.thisis-shon.com as a web app you can install.

Made with: React and Vite, Hono on Cloudflare Workers, D1 and R2; Google Cloud Vision, Gemini and Workers AI read photos.
